NFL Releases Regular Season Schedule; Hands Broncos Lombardi Trophy

Wow! Thank You NFL, that was very nice of you.  After choking the Super Bowl away to the Ravens last year, it seems the NFL wants the Broncos to win it all this year.  Let's look at the schedule for the Broncos, then we will check out the rest of the NFL and some other awesome games!

Week 1 vs. Ravens
Get your revenge early and wash that fucking taste out of your mouth first thing!  The Broncos host the champions in a real quick match up from the playoffs last year, and for the first time since the season opened on Thursday night, the Super Bowl Champions aren't at home.  MMMHHH, This is strange.  Why aren't they receiving their rings?  And why this rematch?  Why not against the Patriots?  The Broncos are the headline team in the NFL right now, so this is a great way to start off the season.

Week 2 at N.Y. Giants
The Broncos' first game at the New Meadowlands, and the Manning brothers face off.  Not a prime time game, but will be a good matchup.  The last 2 Super Bowl Champions, back to back right at the beginning.  Oh yea, get comfy, because that is where the Super Bowl is this year.

Week 3 vs Raiders
Come home, bash the Raiders, and thank Dennis Allen.

Week 4 vs Eagles
The Eagles' new coach Chip Kelly wants to revolutionize the NFL with his offensive scheme.  This will take some time to accomplish, so get 'em early when they are still figuring themselves out as a team.

Week 5 at Dallas
Tony Romo gets a bad rap, he's a good QB, but not worth $50 million.  He's like a Jake Plummer, he's got a decent record, but no playoff success.  This is always a good game.  Both teams came into existence in 1960, played in a combined 14 super bowls (DAL 8, DEN 6), and met in Super Bowl XXII.

Week 6 vs Jaguars
The Jaguars have no identity but for some weird fucking reason, seem to beat Denver, IN Denver.  We need to exercise those demons and just crush them.  Peyton has played them plenty, and been successful, so that's nice to have on our side.

Week 7 at Indianapolis
Peyton needs to go back to the house that he built, and make sure that the kid whose living in it, knows whose fucking house it is!

Week 8 vs Redskins
The Return of Mike Shanahan.  The man who brought 2 Super Bowls to us here in Denver.  I personally will welcome him back, he was a great coach, he's a good man, and I hope he does well in Washington.  Just not in this game!!

Week 9 BYE
Perfectly placed in the middle of the season, catching on yet?

Week 10 at San Diego
Remember last year in San Diego?  35 unanswered points and the first victory of an eleven game win streak!?  Ring a bell?  Let's go do it again that was fun!

Week 11 vs Chiefs
Welcome to Denver Andy Reid and Alex Smith.  Von Miller will take care of Smith, and the Broncos should show Reid that this is our house.

Week 12 at New England
God!  Again in New England?!?  Well if you wanna be the best, you gotta beat the best, especially at home.  This will probably be a playoff tiebreaker game, but another Manning vs. Brady matchup, and these are always good games.  Don't expect any pleasantries for Welker.

Week 13 at Kansas City
Arrowhead Stadium is always a tough place to play, and the Chiefs will have a totally rebuilt offense, and could possibly be in a wild card chase at this point.

Week 14 vs Titans
The Titans are trying to find a face of their franchise, and 2nd year Mike Munchak has to figure out which direction he is going in.   Chris Johnson has the speed, but if kept inside he's useless.

Week 15 vs Chargers
This is the last home game of the regular season and that sucks, because it's in early December, and it's not a very good team.  I guess the NFL just figured we'd get a home playoff game anyways.

Week 16 at Houston
This is a good matchup, and at this point in the season, it will be for playoff seeding.  If Houston is healthy they're dangerous.  But they came here and beat us, so we need to go to their house and beat them.

Week 17 at Oakland
It always sucks to play the Raiders this late in the season because they're always mad cause they fuckin suck, and miss the playoffs.  So they go out looking to hurt, and don't give a shit about what happens.  It's dangerous for the Broncos to go in and get out healthy.  Plus the field is gonna be all shitty, this game just sucks, fuck the Raiders.

Season prediction: 12-4  By the end of the year, they should be adding another trophy to Mile High.
