Tim Duncan walked into the Pepsi Center with a sad look on his face. Then he left with one. Of course he always looks like that, so fuck him. The Spurs held Denver to 11 points in the 1st quarter. Then Corey Brewer came in, and completely turned it around. That is the leadership this team has been looking for, and along with Wilson Chandler, and JaVale McGee, the Nuggets bulldozed the Sours, sorry the Spurs, right out the door. Andre Iguodala dropped a triple double, and the Nuggets never lost the lead, and won by 10. The Nuggets were going so fast, they were tripping over each other's feet! Fournier has come ready to play and he is not afraid to get in there. JaVale looks super pumped up right now, he and Chandler swatted Tim Duncan right in his stupid face.
Ballin'! Right now! Straight up ballin'! Without the two top scorers. they just ran all around them old men. The Spurs still fought, but you can't stop a downhill freight train, and that's What the Nuggets are right now. The Spurs get Ginobli back, that'll help, but they better hope to play the Lakers, that's the only team they would have a chance against. The Lakers are still trying to figure out their formula as a team, and they have a better chance against the Spurs than any other team. That would be a good series.
The Nuggets are getting home court advantage in the playoffs, and nobody wants to play in Denver right now. Ty Lawson is gonna be back just in time for the first series, and that looks to be against Golden State at the moment. The Warriors are good, but the Nuggets seem just too dominant at the moment. With this momentum, the Nuggets can accomplish so much. The question is, can they get out of the first round? Show us, and make your GM eat his words when he said "this is not a championship team right now,......the fans just need to be patient." back in February. Hmmmm, interesting, since then, the Nuggets are 20-3.
